Had to call a repair guy for my electric furnace last week. The unit kept tripping the breaker after a few minutes of running, and the heating elements looked fine but something was off. He found a short in the control board wiring, replaced a relay, and tested everything. Works perfectly now. Cost me a few hundred but beats freezing.
